2 years ago today (so July not June or August, but still 2 summers ago) I accidentally ate an entire cookies and cream chocolate bar filled with mushrooms after having a much needed and magical reunion with everyone in Title:Point at Brick Aux. I woke up at 4 am tripping so hard I thought I was dying. I changed into nice shoes and laid down, ready to pass from this earth. Instead, I got up and taught a voice over class on zoom at 11am and found the chocolate bar wrapper during our break at 12:30 and realized what had happened. Then I went and hosted a reading of David Greenspan's sequel to As You Like It.
literally so much redux between then and now - i am trying to refinance the business loan that in summer 2023 i was terrified i wouldn’t be able to find anyone to approve me for - so wild ty for the reminder that i got through this fear once and can find an even deeper core of safety beyond it this time!!
sending you good money vibes! the resonance from that summer kind of freaking me out — similar feeling of being "back in the same place" but also better equipped to move ahead!
Wow so I also binged SATC during that exact Venus Rx after binging all of Twin Peaks and was on a super similar wavelength about the Venus-Mars of it all. Last week I experienced the Venus-Mars square in Gemini-Virgo mostly through watching Before Midnight & the new documentary about the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni feud lol
!!! omg that messy mutable Venus-Mars square very much giving Blake and Justin lol (especially with Blake's chart) — also Twin Peaks is so the perfect narrative for that particular Venus Rx with Pluto
I love the reflection questions at the end (so much food for thought!) and I love the idea of TV shows as oracles! I've recently been rewatching the early seasons of Grey's Anatomy and keep getting shocked by lil snippets of dialogue or plotlines that perfectly speak to my life experiences right now. Whether meaning comes from something beyond us or solely from within us, it makes sense that we'd find it through the medium of the art we consume (beloved trashy shows included).

omg I'm remembering you sharing this story with me at the time (!!)

I really do believe the timing and plot lines of stories we have available to consume are supposed to be mirrors to our minds.

Exactly
I have still only ever seen Season 1 of Twin Peaks; I think because I never start it during the correct astro weather lol
I started it during David Lynch’s exact Venus Return (not on purpose)

yes! I like to think of TV as our modern Theatre of Dionysus lol
