Just a reminder that paid subscriptions are on *sale* for $50/annual or $5/month through the end of the month. I’d love to have your (monetary) support to keep this project going in 2024.

How’s this week been going for you, bb? Are you spiraling? Thriving? Feeling calm amidst the storm? Whatever’s going on, this week has been a whirlpool. Lots of downloads to sort through. Tons of information. Old habits die hard. Failing systems approaching their expiration date. This final week of Capricorn season has brought many parting ā€œgifts,ā€ or let’s be real parting pranks. We’re in a dark tunnel on our way to the future, and this Saturday, January 20, is when that future begins. On Saturday January 20, both the Sun and Pluto enter Aquarius.

I hate to be this dramatic (or do I?), but I think a shift like this deserves a certain gravitas. Pluto—despite its dwarf planet status—is an archetypal juggernaut. Richard Tarnas describes Pluto in Cosmos and Psyche as ā€œthat which empowers, and intensifies whatever it touches, sometimes to overwhelming and catastrophic extremes.ā€ Think 2020: when the Saturn-Pluto conjunction in Capricorn brought Saturn things (boundaries, rules, distance) and Capricorn things (government, economy, quality foundations) to their final destination. Pluto is associated with mutation, of life and death and rebirth, and also of transformation. Pluto in Aquarius mutates and transforms the social order, science, belief systems, information and technology. Our world is moving away from the earth and moving up into the air.
