a quick note for today’s full moon:
This morning (7/3) at 7:38 am ET, there’s a Full Moon at 11º Capricorn. This Full Moon falls in the second decan of Capricorn which Austin Coppock calls “The Pyramid.”
Fun fact: The Louvre Pyramid, designed by architect I.M. Pei, was dedicated in March 1989 on the day when Saturn (structures) and Neptune (illusions) were conjunct in this part of Capricorn— a see through, glassy (Neptune) structure (Saturn), a literal pyramid.
This decan is associated with the 3 of Pentacles which the Golden Dawn called, “The Lord of Great Works.” In the Rider-Waite deck illustrated by Pamela Colman Smith, this card depicts a stonemason working in a cathedral, two architects, his collaborators, stand by his side. All parties are excellent at their job and an integral part of the process. Together, they’re creating great works. Works they couldn’t dream of creating on their own. Works that will outlast them.
Full Moons shed light to reveal the whole of it, and this Full Moon reveals the architecture. The bones of the situation.
This Full Moon also sheds light on our current journey with Saturn in Pisces. Saturn is rigid but Pisces is slippery. Though Saturn wants us keyed into the long game, Pisces knows that choosing is a fallacy. To contain one is to contain it all. Pisces knows how infinite the world really is. But Pisces also often holds far too much. Pisces cup gets filled with everyone else’s drama and everyone else’s water.
This Full Moon gives us a hard limit in the form of fluid ounces. It’s a vessel for our water. This doesn’t mean we have to be cut off or opaque. In fact, it’s better to be that glassy pyramid. To be a glass half full, not a cup runneth over. Getting that much poured into you is, in fact, overrated.
Some questions to ask:
What’s ready to spill over?
What shape is my container?
