I’ve noticed a lot of people talking about how long January felt. It always feels long, right? It’s the month of Capricorn and Aquarius, the two signs of Saturn, working together. Old boss? Meet the new boss. Oh, it’s actually just the same boss. But this year, they weren’t just handing Saturn’s baton from one season to another, but from one epoch to another. When both the Sun and Pluto moved into Aquarius on January 20, we felt that. Then when we had a Full Moon in Leo on the 25th? We felt that too. Lots of big feelings. Lots of fireworks. Some harsh words. Some unexpected decisions. Lots to process. But this is Saturn processing. It’s not going to be done in a day. Or a week. It’s going to take time. Time moves faster closer to sea level. Some of us might need to come down from the mountain to get back into the flow. But no matter what, this isn’t a quick fix. Respect the Chronos process, ok?

I think about this Chris Brennan tweet from five years ago more often than you would think.

Now we’re deep into Aquarius season, but Mercury, Venus and Mars are still catching up on some unfinished business in Capricorn. For the first time in fifteen years, Pluto isn’t the manager on duty overseeing their work station. For the first time in fifteen years, the Capricorn part of our chart has a little room to breathe. Sure, things are not immediately sunshine and rainbows after a decade plus long flood. But there’s freedom in dancing in the rubble rather than ducking from the wrecking ball, right? Again, this is a process. It’s going to take time. But the answer is: yes. Things are going to change.
