Calendar time is kind of cursed/a tool of the patriarchy/overlords. But there is still something magical about sitting in the quiet of the Winter Solstice. Call me crazy but I actually love the winter. There’s something about the promise of light, days getting longer, and the satisfaction one feels keeping warm in the chill (I also have a body that generally runs hot and find cooling to be a much more arduous process lol).
I also love this weird in-between time when everyone gets as obsessed with time as I am on the daily. Making plans, setting goals, finding omens for the year ahead.
2025 is a year both weird and inspiring. It's very different from what any of us have experienced in our lifetimes thus far. But it's also nothing that humans haven't lived through in the past. Astrology is an amazing tool that gives framing to these cycles and quality of time.
